In February, we will return to Italy, this time mastering the Verona classic, homemade potato gnocchi. Making gnocchi at home is a great way to involve children in cooking. We will also discuss five fabulous pasta sauces that may not be familiar, but will dazzle your friends and family. In Italy, there really is a Papa de Gnocco who resembles our Santa Claus, but instead arrives with a giant gnocchi on a fork! East Chatham Wines and Spirits owner, Mary Hack will join the class with a sampling of two wines from the Veneto region.
